C. H. Haymon, Chairman |
Elected to the Board in 1999, Cordell Haymon
is Vice President of SGS Petroleum Service Corporation which provides personnel
to the chemical, refining and towing industries for the loading
and unloading of barges, contract operation of dock facilities and
in-plant shipping and loading functions. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
Petroleum Service joined the Association in 1986.

R. N. Knapp, Vice Chairman |
Elected to the Board in 2000, Rick Knapp is
Chief Operating Officer of Virginia International Terminals, Inc.
which handles container terminal operations, breakbulk terminal
operations and warehousing and intermodal rail terminal operations.
Virginia International Terminals joined the Association in 1999.

M. R. Buese |
Elected to the Board in 1994, Mark Buese is
a consultant to Kirby Corporation, a U.S. marine transportation
and services company operating inland and ocean tank barges, ocean
dry bulk barges and providing large diesel engine sales and repair
services. Kirby Corporation is based in Houston, Texas and joined
the Association in 1988.

J. J. Devine |
Elected to Signal's Board in 2009, Jim Devine is President and CEO of GCT-USA.
In this capacity Jim oversees both the New York Container Terminal on Staten Island as well as Global Terminal in Bayonne.
Together these two facilities comprise approximately 38% of the container terminal capacity in the Greater New York harbor.

T. M. Flanagan |
One of the two founder Members and Chairman
of the Association from 1986 to 1989, Tom Flanagan is President
of James J. Flanagan Shipping Corporation, a Gulf based general
contract stevedore with operations from Brownsville to New Orleans.

J. N. Loepprich |
Elected to the Board in 2005, John Loepprich is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for APM Terminals North America, Inc., which operates container terminals in most major ports throughout North America and is part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk group.
APM Terminals North America is based in Charlotte, North Carolina and the group joined the Association in 1988.

D. Meehan |
Elected to the Board in 2007, Dave Meehan is President and Chief Operating Officer
of Sunbury Generation LLC located in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Meehan was previously President of Aker Philadelphia Shipyard, Inc.

K. C. ORourke |
Elected to the Board in 2002, Kevin ORourke
is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Matson Navigation
Company, a subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. Based in San
Francisco, California, Matson has operations in ocean shipping,
marine container terminals and domestic intermodal transportation.
Matson Navigation Company joined the Association in 1987.

G. A. Parris |
Elected to the Board in 2005, Gail A. Parris is a financial consultant
to the West Coast stevedores and terminal operations industry.
Gail Parris is the chairman of the Investment Policy Committee.

W.A. Pennella |
Elected to the Board in 2009, Bill Pennella is Vice Chairman and
Executive Vice President of Crowley Maritime Corporation, a multifaceted marine
transportation company, which includes stevedoring operations. Based in
Oakland, California, Crowley Maritime Corporation joined the Association in 1989.

F. R. Sharp |
Elected to the Board in 1987 and Chairman of the Association from 1995 to 1998,
Francis Sharp is President of Texas Mooring, Inc, a ship mooring company based in Houston, Texas.
Texas Mooring joined the Association in 1992.
Prior to Texas Mooring joining Signal, Francis Sharp was Senior Vice President of Fairway Terminal which joined Signal in 1987.

Elected to the Board in 2005, Bill Stulb is Chief Financial Officer of Earl Industries LLC, a ship repair company headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, with operations in Alabama, California, Florida and Maryland.
Earl Industries joined the Association in 1991.
Bill Stulb is the chairman of the Audit Committee.
