The SMIA Safety Committee and Signal Safety Team have created a library of topics for Safety Meetings, or Toolbox Talks called Focus on Safety
"Stop Work Authority” is often misunderstood to mean completely halting operations for an extended period, which has a negative connotation. However, this is a misconception. By investing a little time and effort in thoughtful pre-planning before starting work or making changes to a task already in progress, almost all accidents can be prevented.
