Signal Mutual partners with our Members to foster a safety environment in which everyone arrives home safely to those they love.  Our Signal Safety Resources Team works with Signal Members, enhancing safety culture and assisting in the effective implementation of each company’s safety management system. Collectively, we strive to achieve the mission of an incident-free culture within the Mutual that returns Member employees home injury free.  By teaming with Member executives, management, supervisors, and employees, we continue to encourage daily engagement, increased levels of commitment, and active participation in safety at their workplaces.

Ms. Spraberry, the Vice President of Operations at Advanced Integrated Technologies (AIT), talks about their Safety and Quality Culture and the importance of having Leadership personally invested and visible. Advanced Integrated Technologies has been a Signal Mutual Member since 2015; they are centered around major military bases and shipyards. Advanced Integrated Technologies takes pride in Servicing the ships that serve our country".

Mr. Atkins, President at Global Container Terminals (GCT), is responsible for the operations of their two container terminals in New York and New Jersey. Please watch as Mr. Atkins speaks about the importance of Safety and Safety Culture. GCT has been a Signal Mutual Member since 1988. GCT is a full-service container and cargo handling facility.

Ms. Greene, President of TOTE Maritime Alaska, talks about their Safety Culture and how important it is for everyone to go home safe every day. TOTE Maritime Alaska has been a Signal Mutual Member since 2006.

Tim Nolan, President & CEO of TOTE Group, talks about their Safety Culture and how important it is for everyone to go home safe every day. TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico and TOTE Maritime Alaska provide twice-weekly shipping services to the outer territories of our nation.

Mr. Lynn Loftis, General Manager of the Corpus Christi Terminal for Gulf Stream Marine, speaks about the importance of Senior Leadership shaping their Safety Culture. Gulf Stream has been a Signal Member since 2012. They specialize in Stevedoring and Terminal Services, with operations in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Weeks Marine, Inc. a Signal Member since 2018, shares a video recap of their participation in Construction Safety Week 2022.
