The Marine Terminal Committee creates practical tools and resources to help make day-to-day terminal operations safer and more efficient. Each project is developed with input from industry professionals and focuses on real-world challenges across marine terminal operations. The goal is simple: provide straightforward, easy-to-use resources that strengthen safety, improve consistency, and fit naturally into existing operations.
The Container Vessel Pre-Arrival Checklist helps identify potential hazards and operational concerns before a vessel arrives at the terminal. By completing and submitting the report at least 24 hours prior to arrival, teams have time to review conditions, address concerns, and coordinate necessary precautions before operations begin. This proactive approach supports safer planning, better communication, and more efficient vessel operations.
