Signal Shipyard Committee Releases Signal Engaging Activities Catalog

The Shipyard Committee creates practical tools and resources designed to support safer, more efficient shipyard operations. Each project is developed with input from industry professionals and focuses on real-world challenges faced in the field. The goal is simple: provide straightforward, easy-to-use resources that strengthen safety, improve consistency, and fit naturally into existing operations.

The Shipyard Committee is excited to introduce the Signal Engaging Activities Catalog, a collection of interactive activities designed to make safety training more engaging, hands-on, and impactful.

These activities support OSHA’s expectation that training be effective, understood, and applied, not just delivered. They work especially well in waterfront operational environments because they respect experience, demonstrate realism, and engage workers without lectures.
